Go-getting still

“I have to strive to become a better person for her” was my tacit mantra for a while and I suspect this has something to do for what I have become now – go getting still.

I am still striving, this time, to become the person I was like before – when my world revolves to nothing but her, when all I breathe was her name…

When everything was obscure.

I may no longer dream to be with her for good but at least I knew, once, she was at my side; when all I feel everything is bad.

I may no longer think she would be proud of me but at least she’d be happy for what I’ve turn out to be.
